The Lake Region is positioned in the heart of the prairie pothole country. In the past 7 years our area has been an epicenter for a large percentage of the continental duck production. Besides producing millions of ducks, the Lake Region hosts a massive variety of migrating ducks and geese that travel the central flyway. The Lake Region is home of one of the largest fall staging areas for snow and blue geese, thousands of Sandhill crane, and the big water of Devils Lake can host over 500,000 divers. Few places can offer the variety and quality of waterfowl hunting that the Lake Region has to offer.
